Sighs moving slowly
across the pavement.
Desires hanging from
flashing signboards.
Darkness engulfing the horizon.
Boundless shadows torn
by violence.
Hopes waiting for
a present time.
Intense cold that freezes
the soul to its core.
Solitary multitudes
walking without rest.
Incessant movement
constantly
paralyzing the city.
Today and tomorrow mixed
in the mist of twilight.

Suspiros que recorren
lentamente el pavimento.
Deseos colgados a
letreros luminosos.
Oscuridad que ocupa el horizonte.
Infinitas sombras rasgadas
por violencia.
Esperanzas que esperan
un presente.
Intenso frío que congela
el alma hasta los huesos.
Multitudes solitarias
que caminan sin descanso.
Movimiento incesante
paralizando la ciudad
a cada instante.
Hoy y mañana mezclados
en la bruna del ocaso.
